Friday Fitness

Fitness is important. Why, you ask? We need to be good stewards of whatever health and resources we have to glorify God. In 1 Corinthians 10:31, the Bible tells us, “31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” (The Holy Bible: English Standard Version (Wheaton, IL: Crossway Bibles, 2025), 1 Co 10:31.)

Our fitness looks much different from our “able-bodied” peers, however, it doesn’t mean that it isn’t important. On Fridays, I will be sharing my journey as well as tips that have helped me, some of my “workouts,” and anything that may be helpful. My journey includes exercising with both disability and chronic illness, allergen-free cooking, and stewarding/rationing strength. We would love to hear your fitness journey and any topics you would like us to touch on.

NOTE: I am not a medical professional nor giving medical advice. I am simply sharing what has helped me, what I have learned makes me move forward in my health. Use what you can with your doctor’s approval, forget the rest.  Please consult your doctor for advice on your particular needs in fitness.

Here is our first installment. We appreciate your patience as we learn how best to do this.
