Monday Meditation

Psalm 84:5-7

“5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.”

Strength. Our strength is in God.

Notice in this passage. This blessed man whose strength is in God, still passes through the valley of Baca, (valley of weeping). They still go through tough times, times of weeping. Yet, when they pass through this valley, they leave wells for those who come after. I believe this means they take the hard time and use it to help others later. They learn from it, find God in it, and then help those who are going through hard times after.

Now, in our own strength, we would be unable to navigate the valley and still leave something to help others. But with God we can!

These people go from strength to strength. Where is this strength from? God! God is our strength.

As you go through the trials of the week, stay strong in Him. Then, leave a well in the valley.

May we meditate on this throughout the week.
