Our walk is a one day at a time walk.
In the Lord’s prayer, Jesus teaches us to pray for our daily bread. He doesn’t say to pray for this week’s bread, this month’s bread, or this year’s bread, but this day’s bread.
“9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”
“34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
I may have had to remind myself of this today as I was looking at what needs to be accomplished this week. God will provide! He will provide day by day.
