What we think about changes our very outlook. Being alone much of the time can give us too much time to think.

We don’t have much choice in our isolation; we do have choice in our thoughts.

Let’s look at what Paul teaches the Corinthian church in 2 Corinthians 10:5.

^“5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

In God’s strength we cast down these imaginations and anything that tries to go against our knowledge of God. We cast them down. We bring every thought into captivity and bring it to the obedience of Christ.

This week, let’s meditate on God, on the knowledge of God, and on obeying Christ. May we say, “Speak O Lord” to God and cast down everything else.
