What can we do for one another? for our brothers and sisters in Christ?

I am so glad that God gives much instruction on how to help one another. I am especially glad that what He instructs us to do can be done by people with disabilities and chronic illnesses.

He instructs us to:

• Build up one another
  • Romans 14:19, “¹⁹ Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.”
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:11, “¹¹ Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.”
• Be likeminded towards one another
  • Romans 15:5, “⁵ Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:”
• Accept one another
  • Romans 15:7, “⁷ Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.”

Do you see it? All of these “One Anothers” are based in loving one another as Christ loves us. We are to build each other up, have the mind of Christ in the way we handle others, and accept one another. These are all things that we can do in the love of Christ.
