Today’s Wit & Wisdom comes from an excerpt from an article from director of the City Rescue Mission of Lansing (Michigan) in their October Newsletter. (He just happens to be one of my brother as well.) The quote he mentions settled deep as I often try to fight for my worth as my health makes me feel inadequate. (used with permission)
Reflections from Randy: “Take Heart”
“Our value is not based on our accomplishments; our value is based on the price that has been paid to redeem us, the price Christ paid on the cross. We no longer fight for the value of things this world has to offer. We face life from the position of someone whom Christ proved our high value by paying the highest price. “You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of human beings.” I Corinthians 7:23 ”
You have value because of the price Christ paid!
