Ahhh, Fall, the time of year when we begin loving soups!
Soups are a wonderful way to get nutrition and comfort all in one. However, they may also require a lot of preparation, cutting of vegetables and meat which can be difficult for us. Buying things pre-cut is expensive.
A few weeks ago, I briefly mentioned these dried vegetables that I “stumbled” upon meeting another need. Now that soup season is here, I wanted to mention them again. They have delicious flavor and easily reconstitute. They have become my new favorite way to make soup!
For the meat, I often cannot afford pre-cut. I have found that cooking the meat in the crockpot and shredding it works well.
