Nick Vujicic said, ““If I fail, I try again, and again, and again. If YOU fail, are you going to try again? The human spirit can handle much worse than we realize. It matters HOW you are going to FINISH. Are you going to finish strong?”

Nick was born without limbs yet glorifies God in his life, traveling the country and speaking. Life is not easy for him, yet he continues to move forward for Christ.

Honestly, I awoke weary today. Each day means fighting to accomplish needed tasks and regain health, slowly, yes, painfully. It is not an easy road. It is a hard road. However, hard does not mean bad. God can turn the hard into joy.

Crying out to our Lord as I began to get ready for the day, my perspective is changing. (Notice, not has changed, but is changing.) God is with us in the hard, growing us, giving us grace and being our strength. We put “one foot in front of the other” and praise Him, moving forward in His name.

The Apostle Paul also suffered and yet believed. He was persuaded that God would keep him.

2 Timothy 1:12, “12 For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.” The New King James Version (Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 1982), 2 Ti 1:12.

Paul finished strong despite adversity. 2 Timothy 4:7-8, “7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.” The New King James Version (Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 1982), 2 Ti 4:7–8.

In Jesus name, weary, hurting, overwhelmed, we press on. As Nick said, “It matters HOW you are going to FINISH. Are you going to finish strong?”
