Our joy does not come in an identity of our job or our role in the family. Our joy comes from God. Jesus is our joy.

As I struggled with my health again, I began to realize how important it is that I look to my identity in Christ as my full identity, not in what I do or who I am. It made me remember this part in the movie Overcomer.

I encourage you to read the book of Ephesians to see who you are in Christ and what your identity is in Him. It brought me joy; I believe it will bring you joy as well!
