“6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:
And the government shall be upon his shoulder:
And his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God,
The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end,
Upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom,
To order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice
From henceforth even for ever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”
Isn’t it amazing that we have an Everlasting Father? He is our Father forever.
Unlike human fathers, He is a perfect Father. Wait, you say, I have an amazing father. Yes, some of us were blessed with amazing earthly fathers who were examples of God in our life. Yet, even the best of them were limited and not perfect. God is a perfect and almighty Father forever. He provides for us and loves us. Draw near to Him. Get to know Him.
For those of you who do not have a wonderful earthly father, take heart. God is a wonderful and loving Father. He will take care of you in ways your earthly father didn’t or couldn’t. Do you know Him? If not, please contact us!
