Have you ever watched a mother with a baby? As they go outside, they cover the baby as protection from the sun or cold. Sunday, a dear new mother was carrying her fairly newborn baby into church. Everyone wanted to see the new little one. The mother allowed it from a bit of a distance. She was protecting her child.
God does this for us. He hears our cries, is our strength, and covers us in our battles. What a God!
