Daily Dose of Encouragement: Blessed Be Your Name

Recently, praise has been flowing from my heart as God has chosen to lighten a few of the medical burdens for a season. I don’t know how long the strength will last, but I am thankful for it while it does last.

It made me think of Philippians 4:11-13 in a new light.

“11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Will I choose to be content in the times I am less isolated and have a bit more strength as well as the times when I am weak and very isolated? Will I praise Him? I pray that God will strengthen me and allow me to be content through all!

How about you? What seasons are you in that are teaching you contentment?
