Wednesday Walk

In the midst of a medical flare or crisis, in the midst of days when it takes all that you can do to get out of bed, it is easy to lose sight of God’s working in our life.

Good news! When you walk through these times, you can do so with confidence.

I can hear you now. “How can I be confident when I can’t get out of bed? When the pain and fatigue are so intense?”

God promises that He who began a work in us will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Herein lies our confidence. When everything with our health (or anything else) falls apart, God is still working a good work in your life. That is a promise.

Philippians 1:6

“6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”

Romans 8:28-29

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

God also takes what looks bad and works it together for good. He is conforming us to the image of His Son, Jesus.

So, child of God, as you walk the tough days, the illness flares days, walk with confidence. Lift up your head. Your Father is still working good.
