Daily Dose of Encouragement: Working for the Master

I don’t know about you, but it is so easy to get caught in scrolling endlessly or watching mindless entertainment for hours on end. I think that the life of isolation and chronic illness makes this temptation stronger than others. (I am not saying not to ever scroll or watch something entertaining, but social media and infinite options of screen entertainment makes it easy to waste countless hours without even realizing it.)

God has been working with me on not wasting time, even the time when the brain fog is very real. Instead, He has a productive plan for this time, yes, even the time of isolation and struggle!

It made me think of 2 Timothy 2:4.

“4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.”

We have a work to do for our Father in the midst of a dark world. This blog has some great insight into enduring and fighting hard during the hard times. May we please Him in our use of all of our resources.
