Did you know that your identity can change?
Think about it. First, you are someone’s daughter or son. Then as a young adult, you are your own person. Then, you are known by a wife/husband, mother/father, or by your occupation. Later, you may be an aunt, uncle, grandparent.
In the same way, our very identity of who we are changes in Christ.
“11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”
If you look in the verses above verse 11, it tells how one identity was switched for another. Wow!
We will be looking into this passage more later, but I had to share this verse to meditate on this week. It is working in my heart!
