Some friends came this weekend to help with my largest flower bed. One of the big things was getting rid of the weeds. To completely eradicate the weeds, they had to be pulled up by the roots.
In the life of chronic illness, bitterness is a weed that can easily grow. God tells us to be careful about letting any root of bitterness grow. We don’t want to let that root of bitterness grow. Not only will the bitterness trouble you, but will also bring others down. Instead, cling to His grace!
“15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;”
