Prayer is powerful. We have a powerful God.
God is not a god of stone or iron that cannot hear us. He is God of gods who is all-powerful and all-knowing. He loves.
Look at what the Psalmist says:
“4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”
When we are anxious, fearful, lonely, or whatever, we need to seek the Lord. He is our deliverer. Our prayer draws us to Him and helps us to lean on Him. This doesn’t mean He will take all of our problems away, but will help us through. He will work in our lives.
In the coming days, we will be looking at examples of prayer in the Bible as well as stories of great Christians who prayed. These stories always excite me and challenge my heart. I hope they will yours as well!
