“14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.“
We can come boldly to God in prayer. Jesus is our great high priest, our mediator between God and us. (1 Timothy 2:5) We can confess our sins knowing our confession will bring forgiveness. We do not have to be shy about sharing all that we are going through since Jesus was here in human form. He was tempted just as we are, yet didn’t sin. However, He does know what we are going through.
Do not hesitate to come to our God in prayer. We can come boldly to the throne of grace. God will give both mercy and grace.
Pause.
Let that sink in.
We can come boldly to God through Jesus Christ. That is cause for celebration! Selah. Amen.
