We praise God and worship Him with Thanksgiving because of who He is.
“9 Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;”
Do you see what this verse is asking us to know about God?
- He is Israel’s God. (Good news – through Jesus, He is the Gentiles’ God as well.)
- He is God.
- He is the faithful God.
- He keeps covenant and mercy with those who love Him and keep His commandments.
Isn’t it awesome that all of these things apply even to those of us who deal with chronic illness, disability, and isolation?
Let’s praise our amazing God together today no matter what we are going through!
