This painting from Joni Eareckson Tada made me meditate on all that God has done for us. How poignant it is to see baby Jesus with His purpose for coming in the distant background.
It reminded me again of a so-familiar verse that we should think about more often. God loves us. Jesus loves us. His love is not dependent on what we can do or how limited we are. We are loved.
“16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
