Paul was a fellow companion on the journey of suffering. He suffered some type of physical challenge that held him back, imprisonment, beatings, and many, many more trials. Yet, he pressed on.
2 Corinthians 4 is an amazing chapter to read. I encourage you to read the entire chapter. However, verse 15 jumped out at me today as we focus on Thanksgiving this month.
“15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.”
He did this to bring many to God. He did it for the people whom God brought into his life. His purpose was loving God and bringing Him glory and loving people to God.
This really touched my heart and challenged me to live for the same purpose through trials. May God be glorified.
