Daily Dose of Encouragement: Love One Another, part 3

We are walking through the “love one another” passages. I have debated the best way to do this as each verse is challenging my heart.

The search that I did is found here. Let’s look at the next few verses.

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
I don’t know about you, but it is so easy in the midst of the daily grind of disability and chronic illness to get focused on my own issues and become selfish. Instead, how would things change if I put others first?
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
The only thing we should owe another person is to love them. In doing so, we fulfill the law. Wow. That is all and so simple, but not easy. Love one another.
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
We have liberty in Jesus Christ. Yet, using that liberty wisely is by loving one another through service. We are free and must not waste that freedom.
In all this talk of love, perhaps we need to know what love is. The best definition I have found is in 1 Corinthians 13. And so, let us love one another!
