“31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.”
Read the verse again.
Did the Scripture just say that a harlot was in the Hall of Faith? Did it just say she had faith? Woah!
She did not perish with the others in her city who probably thought that they were better than she was. She had faith. She saved the lives of the spies.
But, it gets even better.
Matthew 1:5 lists Rahab (Rachab) in the lineage of Jesus.
Rahab was a harlot. Yet, when she believed, her life changed. She was in the lineage of Jesus and in the Hall of Faith. Let that sink in.
When Jesus enters our lives, things change. Oh how He loves us!
