Daily Dose of Encouragement: Hebrews 11:23-29, Part 2

Hebrews 11:23

“23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment.”

While meditating on this verse, all I can say is wow. Do you see it?

The “By faith…” is about Moses’ parents. They hid their son from being killed. They did it in faith and were not afraid of the king’s commandments. They took a stand when their son’s life could have been on the line. Then, they trusted their son to God as they put him in the river to be found by the Pharoah’s daughter.

Can you imagine the faith they had? They did not know “the rest of the story.” They simply had faith in God.

We don’t know the rest of our story, but God does. He can be trusted! May we have faith in Him!

Tomorrow, we will continue our walk through Hebrews 11:23-29, Lord-willing!
