Monday Meditation: Isaiah 43:1-2

Isaiah 43:1-2, “43 But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

I think we all need this reminder every once in awhile. Meditate on these verses this week.

The Lord who created us, who formed us says not to fear. He not only created us, but He also redeemed us. If we have accepted His redemption and believe on Him, we are His. He has called us by name. Wow. How amazing! This is an encouragement as we go into the new week!

On top of that, look what He promises. He doesn’t promise that we won’t have troubles. However, when we go through the waters, He is with us. When we go through the rivers of life, they will not overtake us. When we walk through the fire, He will not allow us to be burned.

I don’t know about you, but I need that reminder this week. Post these verses someplace that you can look at them each day! Highlight them in your Bible. Do whatever you need to do to have them in front of you throughout the week!
