Jesus is master, teacher.

Matthew 8:19, “¹⁹ And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.”

John 20:16, “¹⁶ Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.”

John 14:6-7, “⁶ Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. ⁷ If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.”

Jesus is our teacher who shows us the way to live, the way to pray, and the way to have a relationship with God and others.

I don’t know about you, but there are often times that, even as an adult, I do not know what to do or which way to turn in situations. Jesus teaches us.

Do you struggle with knowing how to respond to suffering and isolation? Look to our Teacher. He knows both suffering and isolation well. He can teach you and I how to respond!
