We have all seen the quizzes on Facebook that ask what fruit, pet, food, season, whatever are you?

This is not what I mean when I ask, “What fruit are you?”

Take a look at these verses:

• 1 Timothy 5:24-25, “²⁴ Some men’s sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after. ²⁵ Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.”
• Galatians 5:19-23, “¹⁹ Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, ²⁰ Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, ²¹ Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. ²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, ²³ Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
• Matthew 7:16, “¹⁶ Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?”

These verses show two very different types of fruit, good and bad. I know that I can only have the good fruit show if I am walking with God in the power of the Spirit.

This question challenged my heart. Is your life as you walk the challenges of isolation showing the good fruit of the spirit or the bad fruit of the flesh?
