God Uses Weak Vessels

1 Corinthians 1:27, “27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;”

I needed the above reminder today. As you know, I just returned from a vacation that had a bit more adventure than anticipated. God moved and worked in the vacation in ways we can’t describe. Yet, my chronic illnesses mean recovery time. It seems that recovery time always takes longer than I want. This week, I am weary and recovering. I know you all understand.

Today, I needed the reminder that God still uses weak vessels. God’s work doesn’t depend on our strength. Isn’t that comforting!

I have mentioned the book I am reading many times. The stories of great Christians are amazing. One theme is running through the book. Many of them faced insurmountable odds and health challenges. Yet, God used them!

I don’t know what your strength level is today, but remember. God can still use you!
