Tuesday Tip

Conversations with a couple friends sparked today’s tip.

Keeping a journal can be a great way to navigate chronic illness, disability, and isolation.

Journaling can be very therapeutic. There is something about writing out your thoughts, joys, and struggles that allows you to see the situation in a different perspective.

Journaling can also help you see progress. For instance, I don’t see a lot of progress day to day, but if I look back at where I was a year ago, I see definite improvement. Without the notes as to where I was, I wouldn’t be as encouraged by the successes.

Journaling can be a great way to record your blessings and help you focus on gratitude.

Do you journal? How have you found it helpful? Any suggestions for those who may just be starting the journaling journey? (Say that five times fast!) We would love your feedback!
