Ephesians 6:21-24

We are coming to the end of our walk through Ephesians today. What a lot to learn in this short book.

Ephesians 6:21-24, KJV: “21 But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things: 22 Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts. 23 Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.”

When you think of men in the Bible, how often do you think of Tychicus? Who? Why, Tychicus, of course!

Tychicus was a dearly loved brother and faithful servant serving with Paul. Paul is sending him to the Ephesians to encourage them and keep them up to date on what is happening.

As Paul closes this book, he asks for peace and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ as well as grace to be with all them that love Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. What a blessing to speak over them, to speak over us as we love the Lord Jesus in sincerity.

Amen.

Tychichus encourages me today. He isn’t a popular man in the Bible like Noah, Daniel, Peter, or James. Yet, he was dearly loved and faithful. Those of us who are disabled or in isolation may never be popular by the world’s standards, yet we can serve faithfully and encourage others.
