Tuesday Tip

Tell It To Jesus. He provides.

Philippians 4:18-20

“18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. 19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” The Holy Bible: King James Version, Electronic Edition of the 1900 Authorized Version. (Bellingham, WA: Logos Research Systems, Inc., 2009), Php 4:18–20.

God reminded me about this truth this week. Due to my allergies, there are needs that are simply expensive. We are talking ongoing needs like food, soap, etc. I have learned to pray for them. Then, I stand back and watch and wait. Now, sometimes the wait is long, but God provides. Sometimes, He helps me find sales on things just as I am about out of them. Sometimes, He leads me to find them at different places cheaper. This week, He did both. I don’t know why, but I am always amazed as He does this.

A dear friend had a need. Several of us were working together to figure out how to meet the need. It was not wrong of us, but we were working to meet the need. Imagine our surprise when this afternoon we received a text. A third-party, whom none of us had spoken to, said that they were filling the need. One Word… God.

I know that some of you are in the waiting stage. To be honest, I have a list of things in the waiting stage as well. Tell God about it! He provides… financial, physical, emotional, spiritual, and all needs.

How have you seen God provide when you tell it to Jesus?
