This past month has been busy! I honestly feel very behind on everything. There has been some health flare-up time and time with family that required recovery days after. All of this while work is in its crazy stage.
The behind feeling comes as most of this year has been either ill or fighting to regain strength. I know that slowly things will catch up. One step at a time, we will get this done. Looking for the bright spot in the midst of the challenge is a good thing!
Today, I am thankful for time with loved ones over the past few weeks. These times are bright times in the midst of challenges. What a blessing.
Today, I am also thankful for a wonderful local mechanic shop. A handle on my van door was becoming loose. I was honestly concerned as it is right where I need to get my mobility devices, behind the driver seat. This shop treats you like family. They could not get a replacement part, but would have had to replace the entire door. What did they do instead? They made (yes made!) a part for a very reasonable amount. They checked out the van to make sure that everything else was looking good. It is. What a blessing!! Every time I come, they make sure that I can easily get in and out, having my vehicle ready where I can get in safely – especially in the winter! These little things mean a lot!
What are you thankful for today?
