Tuesday Tip

Wait on God.

Medical issues come with waiting and waiting and waiting. There is typically pain and weakness in the waiting. As you wait, wait on Him.

Psalm 27:14

“14 Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!” The New King James Version (Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 1982), Ps 27:14.

This “wait” in the verse is an active wait according to Blue Letter Bible. It is about actively waiting, looking for, hoping, expecting, and binding together. Isn’t that cool? We are expectant as we go through hard waiting. We bind ourselves to Him.

Today, after months of waiting, a medical issue we have been working through for 16 months is hopefully being wrapped up. It has been a long journey. I did not always wait with grace, leaning on our Lord. Yet, God still used this journey to help me grow closer to Him. He can be trusted!

Are you in a waiting season? Wait on Him!
