Throughout the past few weeks, God has been bringing this song to mind. While it is talking about trusting Him for salvation, we can also trust Him with our every day lives. The chorus is on repeat in my soul.

There have been several times I have had to pray that God would take away fear on the journey, that He would help me keep my eyes on Him, and that He would help me respond in ways that will glorify Him.

He has brought joy through the hardship as He is the only One on whom we can lean in difficult times. He is our all in all. This reminds me of a quote from Nancy Demoss Wolgemuth. “Anything that makes me need God is a blessing. We want to be confident strong and capable. God wants us to be needing and dependent.”
