God answers prayer. Sometimes it is not the answer we want. Sometimes it is in a way we didn’t expect. Sometimes we are surprised by the answer!

Yesterday, I prayed as I was waking up that someway, somehow, God would move up my surgery date. The medical office had told me that there was no way to get it moved up.

When I began to get ready for the day, I noticed that the infection was returning. A call to the doctor had them adjusting medications and letting me know that the surgery date needed to be moved up. They were able to move both surgeries up a full month. I will be on very strong antibiotics until the surgeries which causes its own set of struggles.

The surgeries should resolve the cause of these infections. God had worked in His mysterious ways to change the path for me. I admit that I would not have chosen an infection, but God knows. God is in control. I am thankful that God answers prayers! I am thankful that He knows more than we do and knows what is best!
