We have all been there. The medical journey is full of disappointment and delays. These delays may seem small to others, but can cause major issues for us.
Today’s Tip, “God is still in control!” came from my own journey. (I originally had a different “Tuesday Tip” to use.) Yesterday, we learned that needed surgeries to correct my eye issues and fully clear infections are delayed by around a month and more. I was disappointed and a bit frustrated as it means more time on high-powered meds and more risk of the raging infection returning. Humanly speaking, this is difficult. Yet, quickly, the Holy Spirit reminded me that God is still in control. I had a choice. Would I trust Him?
My niece, Baleigh, stopped by a little later and knew the full import of delayed surgery. She immediately wrote these quotes (from Pinterest) and verses on the chalkboards/whiteboards around the house. These are daily reminders of keeping my eyes on Jesus, of remembering that He is in control, and of knowing that I need not fear. I wanted to share them with you as many of you are going through difficult times and disappointments as well. And, yes, I have a lot of chalk/white boards in my house. They are there purposely to put reminders around the house to help keep my eyes on Him.
What do you do to keep your eyes on Him in the midst of the hard?
