Joy.

It comes in the most unexpected places as God give us little glimpses of His care or reminds us of how much He loves us.

This week, there was joy as my birdfeeder was used for the first time. Odd-looking “bird,” but it brought me joy to feed a critter in this bitter cold.

There was joy when I unexpectedly had to go out and the roads were better than earlier this week.

My nieces brought joy as they found clothes for me at Uplift Thrift Store and came to see a “fashion show.”

God provided someone to pick up my medications and a doctor who got to the bottom of the issues I was having.

Joy came as I had heat and food and clothes to wear. God provides!

Above all, joy came as I read His Word, soaked in it, and was reminded again how much our God cares and loves us. He reminded me how much He loves me as we spent time together this week.
