Tuesday Tip

Be consistent. Even small changes, done consistently, make a huge difference.

In all openness, this is something with which I struggle. Chronic illnesses mean that each day’s strength is different; each day’s needs are different. Yet, we can still be somewhat consistent.

For movement, that may mean that some days you can do five minutes of exercise and other days 20. Do something.

For eating well, that may mean focusing on the best nutrition you can have each day although it may be different on the days you struggle to cook or have multiple appointments out.

For your spiritual walk, it may mean using an audio Bible some days and studying with your journal other days.

The constant? Consistency. Keep making strides forward. Consistency helps you keep moving toward a goal even if it is imperfect progress.

This coming year, I am making a goal of consistency. I will be sharing a bit more of my journey as I strive toward it.
