Monday Meditation

Hope in God.

In my time with God this morning, I was reading the Psalms. In two Psalms back to back, the Psalmist said, “Hope in God.” It made me pause. It made me meditate on Him.

To be honest, I was a bit overwhelmed this morning with all that needs to be done both at work and at home. My body is still fighting back from the last round of difficulties.

Hope in God.

I know of many who are struggling in difficult places, struggling as the holidays approach.

Hope in God.

Psalm 42:5, KJV

5  Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me?
Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him
For the help of his countenance.

Psalm 43:5, KJV

5  Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me?
Hope in God: for I shall yet praise him,
Who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

I highly recommend that you go back to read these chapters. They are not a false hope, but a hope in the God who created the universe and still wants to spend time with you each day, the God who loves us so much that He provided redemption for us to have relationship with us.

Hope in God.
