Today, I am thankful for my medical team. Currently, I have an absolutely amazing team who have walked with me through so much these past years trying to stabilize and improve my health. When you walk this road of health for so long, you have experience of less than helpful medical staff. It makes you much more thankful for an amazing team!

For example, my doctor laughed with me in an appointment this week. As in, she tilted her head back and laughed as I explained a couple “day in the life” things with my various conditions. One of the things was when I explained that I appreciated her sending me to the pharmacist to get more information about what to avoid with the new chemical allergies. He said to wear gloves to avoid the chemicals as they are in “everything.” I asked the doctor if she knew that you could go out of the house, return, and not have both hands covered in hives? Life-changing. She laughed, a deep laugh of joy. To hear of such progress was amazing to her.
