When we walk through the deep valleys, we can do it glorifying God. You see, our God sanctifies or purifies us. He makes us more like Christ if we will let Him. Paul is praying that God does this for the Thessalonians. He wants their spirit, soul, and body to be preserved blameless. He wants God to sanctify them.
If you are in a season of trial, take heart. God can use it in your life. Not only will He carry you through, but He will also use the trial to help us in our life! He is faithful to do it!
23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
