I am thankful for our God who is sovereign. No matter what is happening, God is sovereign.

God knows. He knows when things are overwhelming. He knows when things are going well. He knows when we are startled by events that happen around us. He knows.

Nothing takes Him by surprise. He knows our sadness. He knows our grief. He knows our joy and rejoicing.

Today, I am thankful for our hope in a sovereign God.
