Having identity in Christ is a beautiful and amazing thing.

We learned yesterday that our loving God is also a God of wrath. Our God has many other attributes. He wants to be known. He has made it possible for all to know Him.

Our God is a designer. He has shown Himself to all through creation so that no one has an excuse. (This is a great article about the attributes of God.)

Romans 1:19-20 says, “¹⁹ Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. ²⁰ For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”

His creation points us to Himself. He longs for relationship with us. Knowing God directly affects our identity. We will learn more tomorrow about God, who He is, and how we can have a relationship with Him.
