A precious truth as a child of God is that we are forgiven.

Ephesians 4:32

^“32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”

God, because of Christ, has forgiven us. If we have turned to God for salvation, we are forgiven.

Psalm 103:12

^“12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.”

Forgiven.

We are not identified by our sin, but by our having been forgiven.

Forgiven.
