Who are you?
We are learning that our relationship with God determines our identity. I think it is important to remember that you are loved. You are chosen. You have a Father who loves you, cares for you, and protects you.
You see, when we come to know Jesus as our Savior, to have a relationship with God, it is not just about spending eternity with Him although that is amazing in itself. God is with us every step of the way through our life. Wow!
When you have those days where you simply don’t feel worthy and your illness or disability seems to be your identity, remember our Savior. Remember how much you are loved.
“43 But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”
Do you see that? He has called us by name. The God of the universe calls us by name and calls us His. Wow. Just Wow.
