This week, I have seen followers of Jesus in various occupations and walks of life. I am always amazed and pleased. It brings joy to my day to see people walking living for Jesus and telling others about Him. It made me realize that God has called us to serve in different and various circumstances to reach people that He wants us to reach.
It makes me pray for God to bring people into my life who need Him and to give me the words and boldness to tell them about Him. We can be salt and light for Him! This week, I found out that I need to have some more physical therapy. It took me a bit to schedule it as it is exhausting. Then, a thought hit me. Why does God need me to go to PT? Is there someone there who needs Him? May I glorify Him as I go!
As you walk your life journey, remember that God has you there for a reason. Shine for Him!
“13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
