Move forward. Keep “walking” or “rolling” forward.
Do you sometimes feel as if you are in a position where your chronic illness just keeps lobbing things at you for you to dodge, like in a video game? Things are coming at you while you also are avoiding obstacles on the road ahead of you?
I know it is tough. It feels impossible and never-ending. You may long for change. Yet, you must keep going.
Lean on the Lord for wisdom and strength. We can’t go on without Him. (Proverbs 3:5-6, Isaiah 40:28-31)
Put on the whole armor of God. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
Ask God to help you have a merry heart. (Proverbs 17:22)
Move forward knowing He walks beside you and is in control, even if that moving forward is choosing to rely on and focus on the Lord while you are stuck in a place you do not want.
