God created us. God gave us free will. God chose us after sin.

The verses we meditate on this week are written to the children of Israel.
“45 And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.
46 And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them: I am the Lord their God.”
Later, Emmanuel, God with us, came to dwell among us. He sacrificed His life to restore our relationship with God. If you have accepted this great gift and sacrifice, the Holy Spirit dwells with you. Oh, think of that. What precious assurance!
