We have been talking about how we can take our loneliness to God and how He will provide for us. He is an awesome God!
How does He provide for us when we are lonely? That is the cool part. He knows everything that we need. He is knows us intimately and can provide individually for what we need. Consider these amazing promises:
“17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.”
“5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
6 God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.”
“25 Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.”
Rest in these promises from our trustworthy God. Go to Him in your loneliness. He will help!
