Joy.

As I think of Saturday joy today, I realize that what brings us the greatest joy, our salvation, was bringing much grief to Jesus’ loved ones on this Saturday long ago.

Jesus was dead. They didn’t understand all that was to come. They didn’t know that everlasting joy was around the corner.

But we know the end of the story and have joy, joy unspeakable and full of glory.
